Author: gatelesis

March 7, 2019 – Fort Lauderdale, FL – Global aerospace leader GA Telesis, LLC (“GA Telesis”), in conjunction with Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, has committed to adopting the wish of a ten-year-old named Katelyn.

Katelyn will be the guest of honor at GA Telesis headquarters at 4:00 PM on Thursday, March 7th to attend a special Dessert Party!

Katelyn lives in Sunrise, FL, with her mom, dad, older sister, and dog Matilda. She loves playing soccer with her friends and watching movies. While Make-A-Wish visited her at her home, Katelyn was 100% sure about her heartfelt wish to go on a cruise to the Bahamas with her family, stating enthusiastically, “I’ve wanted to do this for my entire life”.  The GA Telesis team is excited to adopt Katelyn’s wish and to sponsor her wish reveal party.

To children with critical illnesses, Make-A-Wish provides a much-needed escape from the world of doctor and hospital visits. Katelyn, who suffers from cystic fibrosis, will have her wish granted Spring Break 2019.  The GA Telesis Florida employees from Fort Lauderdale raised the funds to help make her wish come true.

GA Telesis has a long history of giving back to the community. The company and its founder have donated and directed millions of dollars to charitable organizations that directly impact the lives of children.
